Culcheth & Lymm Chess Club plays its matches at the Pack Horse Inn (55 Church Lane, Culcheth, WA3 5ET).
We currently have four teams, two of which play in Division 1 and another in Division 2 of the Warrington & District League as well as a team playing in the Richard Furness 500 League. We also compete in the Peninsula Cup, the Kalmar Cup and the Kalmar Shield knockout competitions.
The teams usually play their matches upstairs on Wednesday evenings at 7.30pm - 11pm. Club nights are held regardless of matches on Wednesdays. Our season starts in September and finishes in May.
We welcome anyone to join the informal sessions or to watch any of the matches in progress. We are keen to recruit new members, regardless of their playing strength.
